Best co-parenting win: we actually had a normal conversation

My ex and I have been civil but kinda robotic for 2 years. Today she asked how I was doing (like actually asked) and we talked about the kids for like 20 minutes without it turning into logistics. She even laughed at a stupid joke I made. It was WEIRD in the best way. Makes me think maybe we can actually be friendly someday instead of just functional. Or maybe I'm reading too much into it lol. Either way, small victory.
