My ex literally doesn't answer texts about our kids' school activities until days later. There's a soccer signup that's happening NOW and she just responded at 11pm saying 'whatever you think is best.' This is so frustrating. Don't know how to approach it without another fight. We have three years until oldest turns 18.
Could you send it to her through the school or the soccer org directly? Gets it out of just texting and might get faster responses if it's official.
I feel this one. Sometimes I just make the call myself if it affects my time with them, then loop her in after. Not ideal but beats missing out on soccer signup.
Days later is unacceptable for school stuff. That's not co-parenting that's just you doing all the work. I'd start documenting these delays and bring it up with whatever legal arrangement you have.
This is such a common issue and it's infuriating. You can't parent effectively when the other parent isn't communicating. Have you tried a co-parenting app like OurFamilyWizard? Forces accountability and everything is timestamped.
I feel this. The radio silence is worse than disagreements honestly. At least if you're fighting you're communicating. Have you set a boundary like 'school stuff needs a response within 24 hours'?

Man, that's frustrating. With my two, I've started just setting hard deadlines in my texts like 'need your answer by EOD today' and keeping it business-like. Takes the emotion out of it when it's about the kids' stuff.
