Co-parenting text nightmare - how do you handle it?

My ex and I have been divorced 2 years and we have two kids. Every single text exchange about pickups or school stuff turns into an argument about something totally unrelated. Like I'll say I'm running 10 minutes late and she'll bring up that I owe her money for soccer fees from 3 months ago. I tried a coparenting app but she refuses to use it. I'm exhausted from these conversations. Anyone have strategies that actually work or do I just accept this is how it's gonna be?

Been there. The texts start as simple scheduling and somehow turn into full arguments about your parenting choices. Keep it business-like and short.
Use an app like OurFamilyWizard if you can. Keeps everything neutral and documented. Takes the emotion out of it because it's all formal.
