Been texting back and forth with my ex about pickup times and she keeps misunderstanding what I'm saying. Someone on here recommended one of those coparenting apps. Are they worth the money? Which ones actually work? I just need something where we can both see the schedule and messages don't get lost.

Text is the worst way to communicate custody stuff. Between tone being misread and things getting deleted, you're setting yourself up for conflict. An app specifically for this gives you a legal record too if you ever need it.

Google Calendar shared between you two is free and works okay if you don't want to pay for something. Not as specialized as the coparenting apps but beats texting for schedule stuff.
