Communication app update - do NOT use this one

Tried Coparently for 2 months and noped out. The UI is terrible, it's slow, and worst part - my ex figured out how to screenshot our messages and use them out of context in our mediation. Nothing illegal in what we discussed but she twisted the tone. Switched back to email (boring but logged automatically). Just a heads up if anyone's considering it. Wish I'd just kept it simple from the start.

I've been using Our Family Wizard for 3 years now and they literally have a feature that prevents screenshots - it shows up as a report if someone tries. Might be worth checking out. Sorry she pulled that move, that's genuinely scummy.

Did the mediator actually let her use screenshots as evidence? That seems sketchy if they were taken from a private communication app.

Yeah Coparently's whole selling point is supposed to be the 'nothing illegal' part and they can't even deliver on basic security. That's rough that she weaponized it like that though.

This is a really good warning. Screenshots out of context in mediation is such a dirty move. Which app did you switch to?

This is why I just do everything in writing through email now. Boring but impossible to misrepresent.
