Every text with my ex turns into an argument about something stupid. I asked about changing a pickup time one week due to a work thing and she accused me of not being reliable. We need to be civil for the kids but man it's hard. Thinking about using one of those co-parenting apps. Has anyone tried OurFamilyWizard or similar? Does it actually help?

Man this is the worst part of co-parenting. Every single conversation feels like it's loaded with landmines. I found that keeping things super short and specific helps - like just the facts about pickup time, nothing extra. Still blows sometimes though.
The pickup conversation thing hits different when emotions are already high. Maybe try framing it as what's best for the kid rather than what works for you? Not always easy but sometimes resets the tone.
