Communication through an app - is it worth it?
My lawyer recommended we use one of those co-parenting apps instead of texting about kid stuff. Been using it for 2 weeks and honestly it's helping. Everything is documented, we're less likely to get sarcastic with each other, and there's a calendar we both see. Feels less personal which actually makes it easier to keep things about the kids instead of our issues. If you're in early stages of divorce I'd say look into it. Takes some of the stress out of basic communication.
Definitely do it. The app creates a paper trail that helps both parents stay accountable. Plus you're modeling good communication for your kids even though they don't see the app.
