Communication through app is killing me

We use one of those co-parenting apps to keep things civil but every single message from her gets my blood boiling. Even when she's saying something simple like 'Johnny needs new cleats' it comes off so cold and condescending. Am I just being sensitive or is anyone else struggling with this? Sometimes I want to just call and talk like normal people but that never goes well.

Man I feel this in my soul. Every notification makes my chest tight because I know it's probably going to be something frustrating or accusatory. We've been using the app for about 8 months now and it hasn't gotten easier.
The app is supposed to keep things neutral but it ends up being this weird record of every little thing. It's exhausting. Have you tried just letting some of the smaller stuff roll off?
