Communication with ex is getting easier

Real talk, the first year after the split was brutal. We couldn't say two words to each other without it turning into a fight. We're 3 years out now and we actually talk like adults about the kids schedules and issues. Just had a conversation about our daughter needing braces and we figured out how to split the cost without lawyers involved. It's nice knowing we can co-parent without all the drama. Took a lot of work but it's possible guys.

That's huge man, seriously. Those first couple years after the split were the hardest for me too. Sounds like you two figured out what actually matters for the kids.

This is real progress. Three years in and being able to actually communicate about the kids without it blowing up makes everything smoother. Proud of you for putting in that work.
