Custody agreement doesn't cover remote schooling

So my ex and I agreed the kids would be with her during the school week but covid messed that up and now everyone's hybrid remote. She's saying since they're doing school from home some days they should stay with her those days even though it's technically my custody time. I'm trying to be reasonable but this feels like her moving the goalposts constantly. Lawyer wants to charge me 2k to clarify it in writing. Anyone deal with this?

Man that's a tough spot. You might want to get that in writing with her ASAP before it becomes a bigger issue. Hybrid learning is a gray area that courts are still figuring out.

Yeah that's going to be a conversation you two need to have soon. The custody agreement should adapt to what's actually happening with school now.

This is exactly why you need flexibility in these agreements. I'd suggest documenting what you're both doing now and then trying to formalize it so there's no confusion down the road.
