Custody eval is next month and I'm nervous
Long story short me and my ex are going back to court because she wants to modify custody. We've been coparenting pretty well for 3 years but apparently she thinks the kids should be with her more during school year. My lawyer says we'll need a custody evaluation with a child psychologist. I'm worried they're gonna find something wrong with how I'm raising them or that my place isn't good enough. Anyone been through one of these? What should I expect and is there anything I should be doing now to prepare?
The waiting period is the hardest part honestly. Try to stay calm and keep doing what you're doing with your kids. Courts can usually tell who's genuinely invested versus who's just going through the motions.
