Custody schedule change request from ex

My ex just texted asking if we can swap my weekend (this coming one) for the following week because her new boyfriend has some event. I was planning to take the kids camping. She says it's just one time but this is like the third time this year. Do I push back or just let it go to keep the peace? Our custody order is pretty flexible so technically it's allowed but I feel like she's taking advantage.

This is tricky. If you set a precedent of swapping whenever she asks, it gets harder to enforce the actual agreement later. I'd be cautious about making it too easy.

Red flag if she's asking casually over text instead of going through proper channels. What's her reason for wanting to swap? Either way you don't have to agree to last minute changes.

Depends on if this is a one time thing or if it's becoming a pattern. If it's occasional and works for you, sure. But if she's doing this constantly to have control, that's different.
