My ex moved closer to the kids' school so now it makes more sense for them to be with her during the week. We're reworking the agreement but I'm worried I'm going to miss stuff. Sports, school events, all that. Has anyone switched to mostly weekends and summer? How do you deal with missing the day to day stuff? I feel like I'm losing them.
Changes like this are never easy, but if it's better for the kids' school situation then that's what matters most. Keep the weekends strong and you'll still be huge in their lives.

That's tough man, but staying involved during the week doesn't have to mean less time together. I had to adjust my schedule when my son's school changed too - we just found our rhythm with weekday dinners and garage projects. You got this.
