Custody schedule question

So my ex and I agreed to 50/50 custody but she wants to change it because her new boyfriend works from home and can help with the kids. She's asking if we can do 60/40 in her favor. I'm not trying to be difficult but this feels like it came out of nowhere. Do I have to agree to this or do I need to go back to court? Any advice?

The schedule worked for a reason. If she wants to modify it, that's a conversation with a lawyer, not a casual ask. Your weekends matter just as much.

Document everything man. I learned the hard way that custody agreements need to be specific about changes. It's not personal, it's protecting your time with the kids.
