Dealing with high conflict ex during holidays

My custody agreement says I get the kids Thanksgiving morning through Sunday. My ex's new boyfriend is having a big family thing and she suddenly wants to swap to the following week. I already made plans with my parents and my kids were looking forward to it. She's threatening to take me back to court if I don't cooperate. Is this something a judge would actually care about? I'm so frustrated right now.

The new boyfriend getting involved in custody stuff is not it. You were clear about your agreement - Thanksgiving morning through Sunday. Stick to it. Don't let her derail your time.

High conflict exes make everything harder. Stay calm, document everything, and keep it about the kids. Don't give her ammunition to use against you later.

Oof, this is rough. My suggestion is keep your communication super professional and documented. No texts that can be misunderstood. The co-parenting apps really help with this stuff.
