Ex is constantly changing pickup times last minute

This has been happening for 3 months now. She'll text me an hour before my scheduled pickup that she needs to keep the kids an extra day, or vice versa. I get that life happens but I'm trying to plan my weekends and it's making me look bad when I have to cancel plans. We have a custody agreement that says 50/50 Wed-Fri and every other weekend. How do I address this without coming off as a jerk? I don't want to make things harder for the kids but I'm losing my mind here.

Yeah I've dealt with this too and it messes with your whole week. Last minute changes are exhausting. Document everything and maybe suggest sticking to the schedule for the kids' sake as much as yours.

Man, that's rough. Three months of that would drive me crazy too. You might need to put it in writing through a custody app or something so there's a paper trail and she can't keep moving things around.
