Ex is constantly texting about custody

So my ex keeps messaging me about switching weekends last minute. I get that life happens but this is the third time this month. I need the schedule to be consistent for my kids but how do I explain that without sounding like the bad guy? Already paying support on time and never missed a pickup. Feeling frustrated here.

That's rough man. I'd be frustrated too, especially three times in a month. You gotta have that conversation about consistency because you need to plan your own time with your kids too.

Last minute switches mess with everything, especially when it's happening that often. A solid custody schedule exists for a reason, and you have every right to expect it to be respected.
