Ex is using kids to get back at me

She's been "forgetting" to have them ready on my pickup days and when I text about it she says I never confirmed the time. I have screenshots of every single agreement but this is getting exhausting. Our divorce was finalized 8 months ago and I thought this would get easier. Do I need a lawyer again or am I overreacting? Just want to spend time with my kids without drama.

Been there. When my ex pulls stuff like this I just stay calm and never use the kids as messengers. Keep all communication through email or a co-parenting app if you can. Makes it harder for her to claim miscommunication later.

That sounds intentional and honestly kind of toxic. Have you tried talking to her directly about the pattern or is that just going to escalate things?

This is rough man. The late pickups are probably frustrating but try to document everything with screenshots and timestamps. If this keeps happening, you might need to involve a mediator or update your custody agreement. Stay patient with the kids though, they're caught in the middle.
