Ex keeps changing pickup times last minute

This is the third week in a row she's texted an hour before I'm supposed to pick up the kids saying she needs more time. I get it life happens but I've got plans and it's messing with my schedule. How do I address this without being a jerk about it? I don't want to start a war but need some consistency.

This sounds intentional at this point. I'm not a lawyer but I'd definitely talk to mine about whether you can set a hard pickup time and make her stick to it. You've got to be able to plan your life.

That's infuriating. An hour before pickup is ridiculous, especially when you probably have work stuff or other commitments lined up. Have you thought about documenting these and bringing them up with your lawyer? Patterns like that can actually matter.

Third time is a pattern and patterns matter in custody situations. I'd start keeping a log with dates and times if you're not already. Sorry you're dealing with this.
