Ex keeps changing pickup times last minute

This is the third week in a row. Says she has work stuff come up and can I pick up an hour earlier. Thing is I work too and I'm scrambling to rearrange everything. How do I set a boundary without being the bad guy about it? We're supposed to be civil for the kids but this is getting exhausting.

Been there with the last minute juggling act. With four kids I learned real quick that I can't be the flexible one every time or it becomes expected. Maybe suggest a specific day each week she can ask for changes, but after that it's a no.

I feel you on the scrambling part. Set up a calendar rule with her if you can, like she's gotta give 48 hours notice for changes. Makes it fair to both of you and protects your work schedule.

Man, that's rough. Three weeks in a row is a pattern, not an emergency. You gotta set a boundary or you'll be the one always adjusting while she figures out her schedule. I'd send a text saying you can do it once a month max, but she needs to plan better.
