Ex moved 2 hours away with the kids

She took a job opportunity and moved the kids 2 hours away. Legally she was allowed to do it but it cuts my regular visitation in half. I'm so angry but don't know what to do. Can't afford to relocate. Family law guy says I could fight it but might not win. Anyone been through this where they still maintain a good relationship with their kids long distance?

Two hours is rough. That's a drive you can't just do casually on a random Saturday. I feel for you man. Did your custody agreement have any provisions about relocation? Some states require notification at minimum.

This one hits hard because it's legal but feels wrong. I'm dealing with something similar on a smaller scale and it sucks every single time you don't get your days. Have you looked into amending the custody arrangement to account for travel time?

That's brutal. Two hours each way eats your whole day. Can you do video calls on your off days at least? Not ideal but keeps the connection going. Document these visits too in case you want to revisit the arrangement later when they're older.
