Ex refusing to stick to custody schedule

This is the third time in two months she's either dropped the kids off early or picked them up late. Doesn't text ahead, just shows up whenever. I get that plans change but we have a court order for a reason. Tried talking to her about it and she said I'm being rigid. Am I wrong for wanting predictability for the kids? How do I handle this without lawyers getting involved again?

Third time in two months is a pattern, not an accident. Document everything - dates, times, reasons she gave. You're gonna want that record if this escalates. I've been there and it gets frustrating fast.

Been dealing with similar issues. Start tracking it all and maybe send a friendly text each time reminding her of pickup/dropoff times. Sometimes putting it in writing helps people take it more seriously.

That's tough because it messes with your whole week when she doesn't stick to the schedule. I'd suggest a calm conversation first about how it affects the kids and your ability to plan. Sometimes people don't realize they're doing it.
