Ex wants to change custody schedule last minute again

This is the third time in two months she's asking to swap weekends. I get it, life happens, but I'm tired of rearranging everything. My kids are getting confused about when they're supposed to be where. I tried to be cool about it the first couple times but I'm setting a boundary now. Anyone else deal with this? How do you handle it without being the bad guy?

I get that tension. My ex used to do something similar and I finally had to say that constant changes weren't working for me or the kids. Set a boundary and stick to it - you're not being unreasonable.

Three times in two months is a pattern and you're right to push back. It's exhausting trying to plan around constant changes. Have you guys talked about setting a hard deadline like 48 hours notice for swaps?

Life does happen but your life matters too. You need to be able to plan your weekends with the kids. Maybe sit down and establish a rule like 'swaps only for real emergencies' and everything else needs to be worked in advance.
