Ex won't stick to agreed schedule and I'm losing it

This is the third time in 4 weeks she's asked to swap weekends at the last minute. I have plans, the kids have routines, and I feel like she doesn't respect the custody agreement we literally just finalized. I don't want to be the bad guy but I'm also tired of rearranging my life. Do I put my foot down or keep being flexible? Part of me thinks being the 'cool dad' who goes along with everything is better for the kids but it's exhausting.

Three times in four weeks is wild. Have you tried putting it in writing like a formal text chain so there's a paper trail? Might help when you need to enforce the original agreement.

Man this is rough. Have you considered going through a family mediator or lawyer to make the schedule legally binding? Sounds like she's not respecting the agreement on her own.

I feel this in my soul. Going through the same thing right now and it's exhausting trying to plan anything when you don't know if you actually have your kids that weekend.
