Ex won't stick to custody schedule

So my ex is supposed to have the kids every other weekend but she's been pushing me to take them extra days constantly. I don't mind helping out but she's making it impossible to plan anything. Last month she asked me to keep them 3 extra days without notice. I told her no this time and now she's mad. How do I set boundaries without being the bad guy here? We have it in writing in the custody agreement but I hate confrontation.

That's rough man. Have you tried putting it in writing and sending her a message trail about it? Makes it way harder for her to claim she didn't know the schedule.

This is exactly why I document everything. Screenshots, texts, emails. It sucks but it protects you and the kids in the long run.

Co-parenting sucks when the other person isn't holding up their end. You might need to get your custody agreement in writing if it's not already. Just a thought.
