Ex won't stick to custody schedule

She keeps texting me last minute asking to swap weekends. Like I get it, life happens, but I make plans with my kids and she treats the schedule like a suggestion. Last month she did this 4 times. I finally told her no and she got mad at me for being inflexible. How do I handle this without making it about me vs her? The kids just want both parents available.

Man, I feel this. I had to get real firm about our schedule too - told my ex we swap only if I get 48 hours notice or it counts against her makeup time. You're not wrong to want consistency for the kids.
