Ex won't stick to custody schedule, getting frustrated

This is my second week dealing with my ex constantly changing pickup times. She'll text me at 4pm saying she needs to pick up our kids at 3:30 instead of 6. I work construction so I can't just drop everything. I've tried being flexible to keep things smooth but she's taking advantage. Do I need to get the court involved or am I being unreasonable? We had a pretty amicable split but this is wearing me down.

That's infuriating man, I've been there. You might need to set a hard boundary in writing - like texts after 5pm don't count for schedule changes, or she has to request changes 24 hours ahead. Consistency helps everyone.

That's tough when someone won't respect the agreement you both made. Document these changes and keep your responses professional and brief - it protects you and keeps the focus on what's best for the kids.

Second week of that would drive me nuts too. Have you tried putting the schedule in a shared calendar app so there's no confusion? Might reduce the last-minute texts if it's all laid out clearly.
