Ex won't stick to custody schedule, what are my options?

So my ex has been switching weekends with me constantly without any real reason. Says she has plans, I need to just be flexible. But I'm the one who has to rearrange my work and my kids are getting confused about when they're with me. I have a custody order that clearly states every other weekend starting Friday. Do I need to go back to court? Don't want to be that guy but this is getting ridiculous.

This is exactly why I finally got a lawyer involved. The constant switching was messing with my kids' routines and honestly my own mental health. Document everything - texts, emails, all of it. Your lawyer will tell you what actually holds up in court versus what's just frustrating.

Have you tried putting it in writing first? Like send her an email saying you need the schedule to stick for your planning purposes and the kids' sake? Sometimes that formal tone makes people take it more seriously than just talking about it.
