Ex won't stick to pickup schedule, affecting my time with kids

This has been going on for 3 months now. We agreed on Thursday pickups at 6pm, but she's constantly texting last minute that she's running late or can't do it that day. My new work schedule depends on those pickups being solid. I've tried being flexible at first but now it feels like she's just testing me. Do I need to go back to court to enforce the schedule or am I being too rigid? The kids don't seem to care but it's throwing off my whole week.

That's gotta be frustrating. With three kids I get that life happens but consistent lateness after three months isn't an accident. Maybe time to have a direct conversation about what needs to change.

Three months of that is disrespectful to your time and honestly to your kids too. You might need to put it in writing that sticking to the schedule matters and last minute changes need at least a heads up.

Three months of that would drive me insane. Have you tried putting it in writing through a co-parenting app? Sometimes having everything documented helps keep people honest.

Have you talked to a family law person about enforcement? Because consistent schedule changes like that actually give you legal grounds to address it.
