Finally got 50/50 after a year of fighting

Just wanted to share a win. My lawyer told me yesterday that the judge approved 50/50 custody. Been a long year of court dates and legal bills but it was worth it. I get every other week with my kids and it feels like I'm actually their dad again instead of just the weekend guy. If anyone else is in the middle of a custody battle, don't give up. Document everything, be consistent with pickups and dropoffs, and show the court that you're serious about being in your kids' lives. Here's to new beginnings.
