Finally got 50/50 custody after 18 months
Long time lurker here. Just wanted to share that after a long legal battle my ex and I finally agreed to true 50/50 custody. My lawyer said most cases don't end this way but we both realized fighting was hurting the kids more than anything. We have a parenting app now (OurFamilyWizard) and honestly it's changed everything. We're not friends but we can communicate about the kids without it turning into WW3. If you're in the thick of it right now, hang in there.
Dude this is awesome. 18 months is brutal but sounds like it was worth the fight. What was the biggest sticking point in your case if you don't mind me asking?
