Finally got 50/50 custody after 2 years

Just wanted to share this win. My ex and I went through hell during the court process but we both realized it wasn't about us anymore, it was about what's best for the kids. We worked with a family law specialist and honestly the mediator made all the difference. Now I have my kids Wed-Sun every other week and I feel like an actual equal parent again instead of a weekend guy. If anyone's in the thick of custody battles right now, it gets better. Stay patient and keep your kids out of the middle.
