Finally got 50/50 custody
Just finalized the paperwork after 18 months of dealing with lawyers and court dates. Got 50/50 which is what I wanted. Feels surreal being able to spend equal time with my kids instead of just weekends. Moving into a bigger place next month so they each have their own room. Took longer than expected and cost way more than anticipated but it was worth it.
Congrats man, that's huge. The legal battle is brutal. Now that you've got it finalized, how are you adjusting to the actual 50/50 schedule? That's been the tougher part for me honestly.
Huge congratulations. The legal fees alone would have broken me. Now you get to focus on what actually matters with your kids instead of dealing with courts.
