Finally got a custody agreement in writing - what a relief

Been going back and forth with my ex for 6 months and today we signed the papers. 50/50 custody, clearly laid out schedule, child support set. It's not perfect and honestly feels like we both gave up things we wanted, but I can finally breathe. To anyone still in the thick of it, get it in writing. Even if you think you have a good thing going, get it documented. Saves so much headache down the road.

That's huge, man. Six months of back and forth is exhausting. Now you can actually plan things with the kids instead of playing phone tag all the time.
