Finally got a decent coparenting routine going
Been through the ringer the last couple years with the divorce and custody battles but I think we finally turned a corner. My ex and I actually communicate now without it being hostile. We use that coparenting app to handle logistics and it takes the emotion out of it. Were both dating other people and we all keep it civil around the kids. Its not perfect and some days are harder than others but the kids arent caught in the middle anymore and that matters most. If youre early in this process it does get better even when it feels impossible.
Congrats on getting through that gauntlet. The routine part is so underrated but kids really do better when they know what to expect. What does your routine look like if you don't mind sharing?
