Finally got a parenting plan that actually works

After 18 months of back and forth, my ex and I finally agreed to a schedule that doesn't drive us insane. 50/50 custody with flexibility built in so we can swap weeks if something comes up. The key was us both agreeing upfront that the kids come first, not winning points off each other. It sounds obvious but man it took us a while to get there. Things are so much calmer now and honestly the kids are doing better too.

Congrats man, that's huge. 18 months is a long time to be stuck in that back and forth. What was the biggest thing that finally made it click for you two? My ex and I are still working through some stuff and honestly seeing a win like this gives me hope.
