Finally got a stable schedule working

After 8 months of back and forth, my ex and I agreed on a 50/50 split that actually works for both our jobs. Took a lot of conversations with our mediator but we nailed it down. Kids are on a routine now and honestly they seem happier. Even my ex admitted things are better when we're not fighting about dates all the time. Wanted to post this because I know a lot of you guys are still in the thick of it. It does get better.

Dude, that's huge. Getting to 50/50 that actually works with both your schedules is no joke. Takes real maturity from both sides to make that happen. Your kids are gonna thrive with that kind of stability.

Eight months of grinding to get there and it paid off. That's the kind of win that makes co-parenting actually work. Props for sticking with the conversations instead of just giving up on finding something better.

This is what it's all about right here. When both parents can actually work together on a schedule that makes sense, everybody wins. Your kids are lucky you put in that effort.
