Finally got custody arrangement that works for everyone

After 18 months of back and forth, we settled on a 5-2-2-5 schedule and honestly it's been a game changer. I get the kids Monday-Friday one week, she gets them the next week, and we split weekends. Sounds complicated but the kids actually prefer it because they know exactly what's happening and can plan stuff with their friends. Plus I'm not exhausted all the time from switching back and forth. If anyone is struggling with schedules, I'm happy to explain how we got here.

The 5-2-2-5 schedule is solid. Takes a minute to get into the rhythm but once it clicks it's way better than fighting over every other weekend.
