Finally got the custody agreement finalized

After 8 months of back and forth with lawyers it's done. 50/50 with alternating weeks. I'm honestly relieved even though it's not perfect. Now I just gotta figure out how to make my place feel more like home for them when they're here. Anyone have tips on making a small apartment work for a 10 and 12 year old?

Relief is real but don't be surprised if the emotions come in waves once the dust settles. That's normal. You did the hard part though.

Congrats on getting it finalized. 8 months is rough but at least you know where you stand now. 50/50 is fair and you get real time with your kids. That's what matters.

Big milestone. Now the real work starts learning to manage those transition days. First few weeks will feel weird but you'll find your rhythm with the schedule.
