Finally got through to her about communication

After 8 months of her texting me angry paragraphs about every little thing, I suggested we use a co-parenting app. Told her it keeps everything documented for the kids' sake and makes scheduling way easier. She actually agreed. We're trying Our Family Wizard this month. Feels weird having a structured way to talk to my ex but honestly it's already better because I'm not getting a wall of texts at 11pm about stuff that could wait until morning.

Eight months is a long time to deal with that. What app did you end up using? I'm thinking about suggesting something similar to my ex because the constant texts are exhausting.

This is the way. When everything is documented and visible, people tend to self-regulate. No more angry paragraphs because they know it's all there in black and white. Props for sticking with it long enough to make her see the benefit.

That's a huge win. Co-parenting apps literally changed everything for us. No more rehashing old arguments through text. Just facts about pickup times and school stuff. Less emotional, more efficient.
