Funny/sad update on the co-parenting app

So I implemented that Talking Parents app I mentioned a few weeks ago. My ex's first message was literally 3 paragraphs about how I need to enforce better bedtime routines. I responded with a fact-based schedule suggestion. You know what she did? Texted my personal phone to complain that I was being "cold" via the app. She literally created the app situation to avoid drama and then went around it. I can't make this up lol.

Haha I'm dying to know what that first message was. The co-parenting apps are a game changer though. Keeps everything documented and civil.

Don't share the funny parts of it with your ex. Keep it professional only. The second you start joking around things get weird again.

Talking Parents is solid for keeping things professional. At least now you've got a paper trail if things ever get messy again.

The app is great but honestly sometimes I just want to text like a normal person without feeling like I'm being judged. Do you still text for simple stuff or keep everything on the app?

How long ago did you guys split? Sometimes it takes a while for exes to adjust to a new system like that but it usually works out better for everyone.
