Getting remarried - nervous about custody stuff

Got engaged last month and my ex freaked out. Started asking questions about whether my new wife will be around the kids, where we're living, all this stuff. Our custody agreement says I have the kids 4 days a week. Is she allowed to push back on me getting remarried? Should I get ahead of this with my lawyer or just wait and see? Don't want to lose time with my kids but also don't want to be paranoid.

Congrats on the engagement! Your ex's reaction is pretty typical unfortunately. Just keep focused on what's best for the kids and don't let her fears drive your decisions. Have you talked to the kids yet about your fiancee?

Custody stuff gets messy when new relationships enter the picture. Make sure you document everything and maybe talk to a family lawyer before things escalate. Your ex is probably just scared about change, which is normal even if it's not fair.
