How do you guys handle money talk with your ex?

My ex is asking me to cover more of the kids' activities even though we split costs 50/50. She signed them up for soccer, piano, and dance camp without telling me and now says I need to contribute since they're our kids. I'm already paying child support. Do I have to pay for extracurriculars? What do you guys do?

Yeah, that's not how 50/50 works. You've gotta set boundaries early or it'll keep happening. I'd suggest laying out which activities you're covering and making sure any new stuff gets approved by both of you first.

This is the tough conversation nobody wants to have. If she's signing them up for stuff without checking with you first, that needs to be part of the co-parenting talk. We learned the hard way that activities need to be agreed on before the kids are enrolled.
