How do you handle her new boyfriend around the kids?

So my ex has been with this guy for like 2 months and now he's picking the kids up with her sometimes. My son is only 6. I feel like it's too soon but I don't know if I'm just being weird about it or if I actually have a legitimate concern. I haven't said anything yet because I don't want to start drama, but it bugs me. Is this something I should bring up in a co-parenting conversation or am I overstepping? What did you guys do?

Two months is definitely quick, but honestly the fact that your ex is being thoughtful about including him in pickups shows she's trying to do this right. Just keep communicating with her about what makes you comfortable and set some ground rules together.

I get the concern, but at 6 years old kids are pretty resilient. What matters more is that the guy treats them decently and your ex keeps things stable. Maybe ask to meet him first so you can get a read on the situation yourself.
