Found out my ex is letting some guy sleep over on the nights my kids are there. My daughter mentioned it casually like it's no big deal. Do I have grounds to push back on this in court? I don't want to be that controlling guy but also my kids are 7 and 9 and I think there should be a waiting period before introducing overnight visitors. What's reasonable here?
Honestly this is a co-parenting conversation you need to have with her directly. What happens during her custody time is her business but if there's a safety concern or your kids are uncomfortable that's different. What did your daughter actually say about it?
I'd want to know more about how the kids are feeling about it before jumping to anything. Are they uncomfortable, scared, or just reporting facts? That context matters a lot for how you approach the conversation with their mom.
This is tough because technically it's her time and her house but if it's affecting your kids' comfort level then yeah you need to address it. Stay calm when you talk to her about it though.

That would stress me out too. Have you had a conversation with your ex about expectations around who's present in the house during her custody time? That seems like something that should have been discussed.
