Just a quick question about transition days
Do you guys pack your kids' stuff or does the other parent? Who's responsible for what? We haven't really nailed down a system and it's becoming a thing.

The parent who's picking up packs the stuff they're taking. Gets us out of 'but I thought you had it' territory real quick.
Talk to your co-parent about what makes sense for your situation. We've switched systems like three times depending on schedules. There's no one right answer.
We put everything the kids need at both houses. Duplicates of clothes, toiletries, all that stuff. No packing at all. Costs more upfront but eliminates so many arguments.
We split it down the middle. I pack stuff for my days, she packs for hers. Keeps things simpler and neither of us forgets what the other parent has.

Honestly this is such a common source of friction. I'd say whoever is dropping off should be responsible for making sure the kid has what they need. It's not perfect but it works for us.
