Just found out ex is moving 2 hours away

She wants to move for her boyfriend's job and wants to take the kids. Our order says we need to agree on anything over 50 miles. I obviously don't agree. She's saying it's not fair that I'm stopping her from being happy. But that would cut my time with my kids from 4 days a week to every other weekend. I can't afford a lawyer fight right now. What are my options?

Two hours is usually the cutoff where courts start to care about relocation. She can't just take the kids that far without your agreement or a judge's approval. Get a family lawyer ASAP if you haven't already. Don't wait on this.
Have you talked to the kids about what they want? I know you can't let an 8 year old make the decision, but if they want to stay near you and their school and their friends, that matters to a judge. Just saying.
