Just got custody paperwork finalized

After 18 months of hell, 50/50 custody is official as of yesterday. Still feels surreal. The lawyer costs were brutal but worth it to know where I stand legally. The kids seem way more relaxed now that things are settled and predictable. If you're in the middle of this process hang in there, it does get better.

That's huge. Now the real work starts but at least you know where you stand. How are the kids handling everything?

Congrats man. Seriously. 18 months is a marathon. You earned this. That surreal feeling will fade and you'll start to actually breathe easier.

Celebrate this one. You made it through the gauntlet and came out with 50/50. That's a win even if it doesn't feel like it yet.
