So I finally did the camping trip I've been planning for 3 months. My boys (5 and 8) caught their first fish, we made s'mores, and there were zero fights about screen time because there was no service lol. My 8yo said "Dad, this was the best thing ever" and honestly I almost cried. These moments make all the hard stuff worth it.
This is everything. No service means no bargaining about screen time, they're actually present. Camping hits different. The fact that you got them fishing is huge - those are memories they're gonna hold onto.
