Just had the kids' best weekend in months

Got my custody days back to normal after my work schedule settled down (I was traveling for 6 weeks for a project and had to swap a ton of weekends). This past weekend with my 5, 9, and 11yo was exactly what they needed - we baked cookies, went to the park without rushing anywhere, and just... hung out. No devices (except me checking messages like twice lol). My oldest even said "Dad this was perfect" and I swear I almost cried in front of him. Feels good to be present again.
